Tools to help you tell your church's story
The Adventist Church has two free website platforms, both free. Your church needs to pay only a minimal monthly fee for tech support. Visit both providers and choose your site. The Southern California Conference administration is subsidizing the netAdventist website.
http://www.netAdventist.org - Visit and learn about netAdventist; sign up for a website. The url for the tech support company for netAdventist is http://netaserve.com, and there are also training DVDs to assist you in learning the site.
Free online tech support sessions are available Tues. evenings from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Pacific time for all Churches in our conference using netAdventist sites. This service is offered by the Pacific Union Conference Web Ministry. Sign up for a free session by going to http://www.puconline.org and clicking on the Internet Ministry button in the left panel and selecting the Tuesday night session in which you wish to participate.
http://www.adventistchurchconnect.com/ - Visit and learn about AdventistChurchConnect websites, offered free by the North American Division. You can sign up for a website on the site, and also learn about tech help there.
WebClinics will offer netAdventist.org periodic training at the Southern California Conference office or online via webinars, primarily for churches that are just starting to use netAdventist. Established users can contract for netAdventists's tech support service (netaserve.com) @ $10/month by signing up on the netaserve.com website.
The Global Internet Evangelism Network is a community of technologists, evangelists and communicators who meet annually to discuss the creative use of Internet technology in their work and in the lives of those they serve.
